Recession Services

The impact of the recesson on our main client groups and sectors is still not yet fully clear - although what is evident is that many believe the full impacts are just around the corner.  A number of recession driven national and regional support initiatives have been set up and Perfect Moment are pleased to be in the vanguard of the support movement to help businesses, social enterprises, and charities cope with recessionary induced pressures.  In terms of sustainability for organisations and businesses, the aim is to review and plan carefully so as to emerge from the recession stronger and in a position to take advantage of any upturn in the economy.  Our involvement is as follows:

Mind Recession and Resilience Planning (2009-2010)
Perfect Moment are working with national mental health charity Mind to research and implement a resilience planning programme to help its network of 180 local Mind assocations across England and Wales tackle the impacts of the recession and plan for the future challenges and opportunities facing the sector in the next two years.

Perfect Moment are pleased to have been appointed by Arts Council England as one of around 20 consultancies selected to offer support to arts organisations as part of the Sustain Programme.  Sustain is Arts Council England’s £45 million response to the impact of the recession on arts organisations whose sustainability is important in delivering its mission of great art for everyone. Sustain provides additional financial and technical support, over and above existing funding programmes, and will be made available to organisations to help them maintain their artistic, financial and organisational viability during the recession and implement essential changes to ensure their long-term sustainability. Perfect Moment worked with Brighton Dome & Festival and Bedford Creative Arts.
