Evaluation
Our evaluation work helps clients to assess how effectively their projects have met their aims, objectives and outcomes. We are keen to be involved in evaluation from an early stage in order to be able to shape the evaluation framework and help put in place the right monitoring mechanisms to be able to collect the right data (formative evaluation as it is known). This can help with improving a project's delivery before its completion. We also undertake end-of-project evaluations (summative evaluations) that focus on assessing the effectiveness or impact of a particular intervention or programme.
We work with our clients to develop and integrate monitoring and evaluation mechanisms and techniques into their project delivery. We have our own database staff who can design data collection systems to gather and analyse the right data in the most effective way. A number of our evaluation projects are listed below.

Adult Learner Support Fund (2008)
Evaluation of financial support package offered to students to help overcome barriers to learning in Further Education in Cornwall
Learning Partnership (2008)
Evaluation of two European Social Fund funded projects providing capacity building and skills development to voluntary sector organisations in Cornwall.
Fifteen (2008)
Evaluation of two European Social Fund programmes run by Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen franchise in Cornwall. Programmes delivered training in high quality catering to young people at risk of social exclusion and offending.

Counting on Creativity (2006 - 2007)
A research project to evaluate the cumulative impact of Objective One project investments on the development of the Creative Industries sector in Cornwall, highlighting opportunities for future structural fund investment in the sector and producing best practice guidelines that can be shared with other EU regions.
