Krowji (formerly Redruth Creative Parc)
Perfect Moment have been working with Arts Centre Trust and the Camborne, Pool and Redruth Urban Regeneration Company to create a county and regionally important creative industries park to support both the development of the creative industries in Cornwall and the regeneration of Redruth.
Heartlands (2006)
Perfect Moment helped with project development on Cornwall’s Heartlands Project, part of the Big Lottery Living Landmarks scheme. Heartlands is a vision to transform Pool - the most derelict urban area in Cornwall - into a truly great place to live, work and visit by creating an inspirational cultural landscape which celebrates and reignites its local tradition of innovation, enterprise and creativity. The £32m project will revitalize the central regeneration area, incorporating the headgears of two redundant mines. Key within this landscape is the aim to reclaim the semi-derelict Robinson’s Shaft minehead complex into a Centre for Innovation & Creativity and – reflecting its global status - create Cornwall’s third and final UNESCO World Heritage Site Key Site. Brought alive by an ongoing programme of cultural and educational events and activities, Heartlands will form a living celebration and re-kindling of the local culture of innovation, enterprise and creativity. The main aims of the project are to allow the local community to transform its own fabric, creating a distinct, attractive, healthy, safe environment with new public recreation and learning space and life opportunities, turning the present monuments to decline into reminders of innovation and energy. Around 44,000 local residents from Pool and the adjoining towns of Camborne and Redruth will benefit from the project. In addition, the new landscape it creates is expected to attract around 200,000 visitors per annum, with obvious benefits for business and regeneration locally.
Cornwall Arts Marketing (1999 - >)
Perfect Moment have been involved in the ongoing development of Cornwall Arts Marketing - a county wide agency which has had great success in promoting "cultural Cornwall" and delivering real economic benefits to the range of partners that have featured within a number of successful Objective One bids. They are currently involved in advocating at European level to have Cornwall nominated a "Region of Culture" (click here for website). For over 20 years, Europe has recognised Capitals of Culture, where a city is chosen by the European Union and given a chance to showcase its cultural life on a local, national and international stage. If the campaign is successful, there will be a year-long celebration of Cornish culture in 2010 where Cornwall could get the cultural fame it deserves both at home and abroad.
