The government is putting £6 million into supporting social enterprises across the country and Perfect Moment is helping the South West spend its share.
Social enterprises are businesses that tackle a social or environmental need.
The support organisation for these companies in the South West, Regional Infrastructure for Social Enterprise (RISE), has commissioned Perfect Moment to help develop plans to spend the cash which comes from Capacitybuilders - a government agency set up to create a more effective third sector.
Gareth Hart, of Perfect Moment, said: "Social enterprise is an incredibly significant development and a brilliant combination of doing business and achieving social or environmental goals too.
"I'm keen to help ensure that this money makes a positive difference to people and organisations wanting to do business the social enterprise way."
Perfect Moment has conducted extensive consultation work with a wide range of partners and created plans to ensure that the funds are spent on the best projects that support social businesses. This work has resulted in a request for organisations to put forward their proposals and projects for consideration under the scheme.
Gareth said: "We're looking for inspirational projects that tackle issues for social enterprises in the region. Get your ideas down on paper and send them in, but be quick because there isn't much time left."
The funding application documents are available on RISE's website. RISE will ask successful applicants to work up full proposals which they will send to Capacitybuilders for final consideration.
