Recession Help |
Perfect Moment have recently been working as approved advisers on the government's Modernisation Fund scheme in Devon and Cornwall.
The £16.5 million programme provides cash support for voluntary and community groups to plan for collaborative and partnership work to help them through the recession. The scheme has funded Perfect Moment to work with five organisations in Devon and four in Cornwall.
Gareth Hart, voluntary sector expert at Perfect Moment, said: "Voluntary and community groups are facing a tough time like everyone else. I also think that the longer-term impact of the recession on the sector will be compounded by looming public sector cuts.
"Thinking about the future is vital and the Modernisation Fund should help to do this. We are delighted to be appointed as advisers and to be working with groups in Devon and Cornwall."
The Modernisation Fund is part of the Government's Real Help for Communities programme which aims to support voluntary and community groups during the recession.
