Our Approach

Much of our work can be best described as taking place within the third sector or social economy1. This is a reflection of the backgrounds and experience of the two founding partners (John Lancaster and Kevin Brownridge) and the values we like to bring to our work.

We are a creative company, as is demonstrated by the fact that many of our major projects stem from ideas which we have originated. We have developed a strong reputation for quality and client satisfaction which has led us to working with many long-standing clients over a number of years.

We often act as project champions on our clients’ behalf and are very tenacious in overcoming obstacles that may be preventing them achieving their ambitions. Our backgrounds help us to broker successful relationships and partnerships between specific communities of interest and public bodies such as local authorities, county councils, and government offices for the regions.

Ethical guidelines

As a smaller, values-driven partnership, it is relatively straightforward for us to share and maintain our ethics internally and with our selected sub-contractors.  Perfect Moment’s ethics are laid out in our Vision and Mission and they govern our series of published policies, of which that on Quality is pre-eminent.

This provides a clear commitment to the management of quality and commits us to working to five specific Quality Values (Customer-driven Quality; Valuing Employees; Partnership Development; Continuous Improvement and Learning; and Results Focus).

Our purpose

Our mission is to achieve positive transformational change  for our clients and ourselves through:

• Creative ideas
• Intelligent Solutions
• Tangible Results

Our Vision

We aim to develop and position Perfect Moment so that it become the provider of choice to our target markets and sectors

This will be demonstrated by our commissioned work profile, our financial performance parameters, our track record of innovation and our ability to attract and retain highly skilled and motivated individuals.

Policies

Our approach and values are also enshrined in the key policies that underpin our work. These include:

1. The Third Sector or Social Economy:  as defined by HM Treasury, comprises voluntary and community organisations, charities, social enterprises, cooperatives and mutuals. Three core characteristics distinguish Third Sector Organisations from the public and private sectors. (1) They are non governmental; (2) They are value driven - motivated by the desire to further social, environmental, or cultural purposes rather than make a profit per se; (3) They principally reinvest any surpluses in order to further their values and purposes.
