Development work Perfect Moment is always carrying out development work on a range of short to long term projects. Below is a sample of projects we have been working on recently: Developing Capital Projects We are working on early stage capital development work for Brighton Dome, one of the foremost Heritage sites in the South East. It comprises three major arts venues and is home to the internationally renowned Brighton Festival.
We are also still progressing with the business planning stage for Krowji - Cornwall's flagship creative industries business centre in Redruth.
Learning Toolkit We have also developed a transferable skills toolkit for creative sector trainers at WAC Performing Arts on behalf of Rinova. This is aimed at trainers and participants in non-formal learning situations.
Business Development We are continuing to work with AoC Create, the commercial wing of the Association of Colleges (the national FE body) helping them to develop a number of business toolkits to support their operational systems.
| Evaluation & Research Eden Project Perfect Moment have been appointed by Eden to support their internal evaluation of their ground breaking Green Foundation project which has supported over 300 Cornish businesses to improve their knowledge of Sustainability and the Low Carbon economy. European Social FundPerfect Moment have just been appointed by Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum to undertake research exploring and highlighting the contribution of the Voluntary and Community Sector, in Cornwall, to the delivery and success of ESF Convergence Programme. Also Perfect Moment in partnership with the Marchmont Observatory at Exeter University have won the tender to deliver a number of evaluations of the European Social Fund programmes run by Cornwall’s highly successful Learning Partnership. One of the largest organisations of its kind in the country, the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Learning Partnership has been responsible for managing over £25m of European Social Fund programmes delivering training to over 20,000 learners. The partnership is made up of 22 organisations from the public, private and community sectors who are all significant training organisations. At present, Perfect Moment and Marchmont Observatory are evaluating, as part of this contract, the following: Clusters programme – a £4m programme developing local partnerships to deliver skills training to the workforce which specifically matches local employers skills needs. ACE - Apprenticeships, Curriculum Developments and Enterprise/Entrepreneurial Culture - ACE is investing in developing and delivering vocational teaching and learning resources and personalised programmes, enabling young people who are not in education, employment or training to access appropriate learning, training and/or employment. The project aims to make learning relevant, to raise aspirations, maximise potential, build confidence and embed lifelong learning and progression.Skills 4 Work - This programme is working with a wide range of public sector, voluntary sector and private sector providers to provide training for adults in English, maths and English for speakers of other languages leading to Skills for Life qualifications. Skills for Work receives £3,995,578 of ESF Convergence investment co-financed by the Skills Funding Agency
Completed evaluations include: Partnership Works - delivered by a partnership of VCS and mainstream providers, this programme delivered employability skills training to members of marginalised and disadvantaged groups. Capacity Building Works – delivering health checks, capacity building support and associated skills training for 95 voluntary sector organisations Sectors' Programme – a large £8m programme working with 13 sector support organisations to deliver skills training to the workforce
