Paul Weston is a town and country planner and regeneration specialist who has been working in the Community Sector for over 20 years. After working at a senior level in local government and the private sector, Paul joined the development trust movement and managed successful community-owned development trusts in Sheffield and Stoke-on-Trent before becoming a full-time community consultant. Paul is motivated by a very strong desire to see community empowerment and community action as the major driving forces for change and improvement in our villages, towns and neighbourhoods. Over the past 15 years Paul has provided support and expertise to a wide range of enterprising communities including development trusts, market and coastal town partnerships and community businesses.
Paul is currently specialising in supporting the development of Neighbourhood Plans by local communities in the South West and has contributed to the development of over 30 such plans in the last five years.
